Lake Washington Association Board Meeting August 2, 2005

OLD BUSINESS:
John Fink has ordered the food from Gary’s for the Steak Fry on Saturday.  The steaks are costing us $7 and we announced they would be $6 in the newsletter.  Discussion about how to resolve the difference. Will ask for donations to help make up the difference. 

Milfoil Committee reports not matting found at this time.  Seeing milfoil using camera well below the surface.  Committee will continue to monitor growth.  They hope to keep close track of these areas, so they can estimate/anticipate growth areas for next spring.   Is not feasible to do any treating this year. 

NEW BUSINESS:
90 directories have been printed the rest will be finished by Friday Aug. 1. Maps are being printed in St. Cloud and will also be done by Friday.  Kim W. will check with Kay Yoch regarding who Shoreline Captians are responsible for.  While delivering directories they will ask for memberships and donations.

Board approved Cammy taking some of the Association money and finding an account that will provide us with some interest income. 

Updated Website seems to be working just fine.

Minnesota Lakes & DNR are sponsoring a Milfoil Update at a meeting in Nararre Aug. 11 from 7-9 pm.Lake Stella Association invited Lake Washington Board to a collaborative discussion on Aug. 3 @ 6:00 pm.  Steve U, Jim Wendling, and Kim W. will attend.
