Treasurer Report:
Milfoil Fund $37,814.11
Siren Fund $2,770.87
General Fund $17,970.63 
Received from Meeker Co. $1,000 grant for water testing.

OLD BUSINESS:
Newsletter Update – template for newsletter sent out to all board members.  Jenna will get list of paid members to Communication Committee for publication.  Jenna will get Hojie’s ad to newsletter committee.  Kim W. will check on others that may want to place ads in the newletter.  Goal is to have newsletter in the mail by July 17 or 18th.  Kim Winter will update Benefits of Membership for publication in newsletter.  Steve will order 1500-2000 envelopes with return addresses from Crow River Printing.  Plan is to get the newsletter to Jean Ward for stuffing July 14 or 15th   and would like them mailed by 17or18th.
Insurance for the siren:  get this through Ellsworth Township at a cost of $80 per year.  We will maintain the siren.  Ellsworth Township requested a board member (Jim Wendling volunteered) be at their next meeting as we will be donating the siren to the township. 

NEW BUSINESS:
August Picnic – board members signed up to help out.  The board will be providing plates and silver.  Hojie’s is donating pulled pork and buns.  Social Committee will get additional supplies.  Board members meeting at 4:00 for setup.    

Milfoil Committee Report: some emerging milfoil in different areas (northwest of Cedar Point, two other areas on south and south west areas.  GPS on three problem areas, they will be contacting Chip Welling with this information and request to treat these areas.  Noted curly leaf pond weed infestation east of Cedar Point and will request treatmen plan.

Jim Wendling working on pursuing Lake Improvement District plan for Lake Washington.  Do know DNR must be involved, need approval by 51% of homeowners, and county commissioner approval. 

Board approved: 1. sending second mailing (postcard) to those who have not yet paid for membership.  2.  sending thank you’s to new members and those donating $50 or more.  Board members volunteered to write some of these. 

Cook book has 150-200 recipes.
